Helm's Deep is a place where folks can join existing play-by-post games or run their own. Any type of game is allowed, D&D, Star Wars, Rifts, Savage Worlds, doesn't matter. Helm's Deep is generic, not geared toward any one game system.

Die Roller added!
I've added a crude die roller to the site. You'll see it when in a game on the right side under the Game Control Panel heading as "Create a Die Roll". Players and GMs can view the die rolls (GMs should be able to see all die rolls for their games). Unfortunately the die roll listing currently shows all rolls the user is able to see, meaning any they have created or have access to. This is still experimental, the results should be valid, but visibilty might be iffy at this point in time. Players are encouraged to copy their roll results and paste them into the post within their game. Please provide feedback in the forums.

Update 11/6/2007

Due to the way security works with the groups and the modules I have installed, GMs will need to Grant access to each player in their games for game content each player needs to see in the trackers. Game Threads are the most important ones that will show up and alert players to new posts. Game Aids and Stat Boxes should probably be done as well, but are less critical. Ultimately it's up to the GM whether to perform this step, but don't be surprised if your players aren't seeing new posts based on the trackers.

Important!

Due to some things not working properly, games will no longer have forums as such. Instead they will have Game Thread content, which will operate the same way as a forum, but the privacy options will be maintained within the games.

So, if you've added any content to your game forums, make sure you create Game Threads to duplicate the forums/topics you've created in your games. You'll see the Create Game Thread link in your Game Control Panel on the right side while inside your game area.
