Known bugs

Here I'll be posting about any known bugs in the software. The first one is the New Replies bug. If the number of replies on a post exceeds one page, clicking the New link will not take you to the newest replies. Instead you'll have to click on the last page you read and scroll till you find the new replies. This has been a bug since Drupal was created, and is SUPPOSED to be fixed in Version 6, which is currently in Beta. |

That's a fun one.
Yeah it is, and it's considered a major blunder of the Drupal developers.

Not sure if this should go here or some where else so I am putting it here till told other wise.
I created a new Game Aid node with lots of text on it once saved and you look at the page the text goes over all the way to the right I have a screenshot that I can send you or you can go to the page.
Its in The Shackled City game its the only game aid page created so far. Cauldron Background
edit: Found the issue it was the image I had put in I just adjusted the size via the insert image dialog box and everything looks good now.
Cool about the image. Yeah, that's a good fix. For larger images that you're uploading you can also post them as a link, so the image doesn't show in the posts, but when clicked it will open on its own page.

here is the size i used to make it fit just in case others want to put images in there posts.
width = 700
height = 500
You can actually leave the height blank, the width is the important bit. The image will maintain perspective if you just set the width. And it's also going to depend on how large an individual's screen resolution is. I'd recommend keeping the width of an inline image at 600 or less.

Good to know
I noticed that some posts are not showing on the recent forum activity. They are showing in their home groups, but unless I see the email I don't know someone has posted.
The Game Threads aren't forums, that's why. The'll show up under the Ultimate Tracker, or the Group Activity view.

Still shows, just in a different spot. If you go to My Unread you'll also see them.

I just found an interesting bug. In the file upload area if I delete a file say a map with a filename like map1.png and it does tell me file deleted successfully. I then go to upload a new map with the same name, it tells me it uploaded successfully however in the preview window it shows the old map. I thought that maybe it was just the preview so I added it to a link in a game aid click on the link and it is the old map.
Actually that's probably a browser cacheing issue. If you refresh you should see the new image.

Just tried that and no luck, it still showed the old image. Even closed the file area and then opened it back up.
When you say "the file area" what are you referring to exactly? Do you mean attaching an image file in a message using the first icon in the toolbar?
Steel Rat
You might need to do a forced refresh. Shift F5 will do it in FF and IE I think.
