I have the first in a big series of adventures. They are fantasy based and not very large, Realtime would take no more than 5 hours I think to get through. So they are not huge. Though each one does effect the next which is nice.

I have a couple of choices with them. I have a RuneQuest game already and I intend to use the big Pathfinder adventures with it. I don't want to do D&D 4.0 even though I do own it. Which gives me a couple of options.

  • One is to do Palladium Fantasy. A game I own and have rarely played. Even though I don't mind the system. That would be your traditional style fantasy game.
  • Two is to do a zombie game using Palladiums Dead Reign rules as fantasy can fit within a fallen apart earth without loads of work. A bit of tweaking would be needed
  • Three is to do Rifts. Rifts being a bit of a mix of fantasy/sci-fi it again doesn't take loads of work to do to make it work.

Any interest then feel free to shout here.

Any would be fine with me. I have played Rifts in the past but what ever is easier for you to DM.

Its not that hard to adapt fantasy to a post apoc kind of setting. Though there will be cities and towns. Civilization won't be on the point of collapse but it will certainly be in a tight bind.

Another option is realistic [to a point] zombies are not dead but created through some form of man made virus which doesn't kill them, just makes them crazy i.e. 28 days later. To a lesser extent Resident Evil. DNA manipulation etc.

Or option B is supernatural. No explanation given. Just freaky crap started happening. The zombies are dead who walk. Other freaky things thrown into the mix.

Both options have possibilities. Option B allows for more creatures, but option 1 is more realistic.

Doesn't matter to me how the Zombies come about. Hell, could be the Voodoo Coalition or some crap. As long as I get to shoot 'em in the head.

I agree with Steel Rat. I like both options as long as their is the possibility of shooting them in the head to kill them.

As a side note I am actually creating a complete adventure path based on a zombie theme for D&D 4e.  I was wondering if I could bounce ideas of the two you as you both seem to have a like of zombie themed games.

Working on the Zombie/post nuke game. Hard part is what to add other than zombies. I kind of feel that you might get bored with nothing but zombies.
