Playtesting is very important as that is where you'll find the players finding big holes in the plot with their annoyingly brilliant ideas of getting around problems.

You can always use typical GM dictatorship as well Smiley

Player: I'll use the key of opening we found in the other room on the lock.
GM: Ahh. It won't work.
Player: Why? It opens any non-magical lock you said and this lock isn't magical.
GM: I know what I said but it won't open this lock.
Player: Why?
GM: Shut up.

Yes it is, and my normal gaming group are spectacular at doing just that.

Do you have any recommendations on any sites, pdfs, or books that I could get to brush up on how to create a professional adventure/campaign?

I am fond of Pazio stuff overall. They seem to have a decent grasp of it.

They have a great selection of 3.5 adventures and information. They are the ones that created the Shackled City adventure path that I am currently running. I do like their products and will defiantly use them for inspiration.

One thing I am struggle with is how much world information do I need to give? Will it be significant to add in some world information to each of the adventures?

Should I create a Players Campaign Guide?
Should I create a DM's Campaign Guide?

That is what I was thinking. Similar to the way ENWorld did with the War of Burning Sky only better.

I have been thinking about creating a couple of new base classes and paragon paths to go along with it.

some additional content is always worth it. In the Japanese adventures we use the same province and each adventure adds a little more to it. New classses, etc are always a good idea. Even if people don't use them.

Thank you, I have started to fill in the different sections and I am making some good progress.

Do I need to sign anything to make it official that I will be using you as the publisher?
